What is DNS and why do I need it?
Every computer on the Internet has a unique IP address. Rather than try to remember these numbers it is much simpler for people to remember a name. What the Domain Name System (DNS) does is maps the "Domain Name" to the IP Address.
Nameserver 1 - ns1.dnswwwhost.com 72.36.173.138
Nameserver 2 - ns2.dnswwwhost.com 72.232.181.186
There are numerous ways to access youe email (in all cases don't forget to use username@yourdomain.com as the username):
- The simplest of which is to login via the login box on the left navigation area
- Alternatively from your POP3 email client (outlook, outlook express etc..) configure a profile with mail.your.domain as both the incoming POP3 mail server and as the outgoing SMTP mail server. Ensure that you configure SMTP authentication.
How do use the CPanel control panel?
The best source of information about managing your website via CPanel is the official Cpanel Website. If you can't find the answer you can always contact us.
Where can I find information about domain name registration?
We have a seperate Help & FAQ section for all questions relating to domain name registration and renewals.
What happens if I exceed my allocated montly data transfer?
If you exceed the bandwidth limits on your hosting plan (at our discretion) the account may be suspended for the remainder of the month. If you are exceeding your plans limits you should consider upgrading to another plan or purchasing additional resources. See our Plans page for pricing and further information.
